Your orchid will love bright filtered light throughout the year. During the short winter months some supplementary artificial light will encourage flowering.
W A T E R I N G
Water moderately, allow the top half inch to dry out between waterings. The best time to water your orchid is in the mornings.
H U M I D I T Y
Indoor orchid plants also need adequate humidity, about fifty to seventy percent. There are various ways to increase the humidity in your home. Place a water-filled saucer or tray of pebbles beneath plants, mist plants daily, or use a humidifier.
F E E D I N G
Apply Kelpman Specialty Fertilizer every two weeks or so.
A D D I T I O N A L C A R E
To extend the flowering period, cut back flower stems after flowers fade to just below the point where the earliest flowers appeared. New blooms will appear on side shoots growing from this point.
